Update

Everything is back to normal and we're looking into what happened.

Monitoring

We see things are back up to normal speed and we're still trying to figure out what happened. We both DB and CPU utilization was high. We ran the database "stats updater" which is basically like kicking the machine, and we saw that brought the DB utilization down. But CPU was still high. Now that's come down and we're now investigating what happened.
